Market Research Intern

NuVista Strategies has full-time (~12 weeks FTE) summer internship opportunities. This is a great opportunity for graduate students to learn the business of market research and the various roles that ultimately help our clients make data-driven business decisions.

Description:

Working under the direction of Consulting Services staff, a Market Research Intern will have the opportunity to assist with (and in some instances take primary responsibility for) many tasks associated with a large market structure study, including: Designing, executing and interpreting primary and/or secondary research analyses on key strategic business issues.

  • Survey design
  • Field management
  • Data preparation
  • Analysis
  • Report writing
  • Developing conclusions and implications to aid decision-making and presenting findings to client teams

Qualifications:

  • Candidates should be graduate students in good academic standing at his/her university and completed the first year of an MBA, MS, or MA program at the time of the internship
  • Strong data analysis skills (cross tabulation, significance testing)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work well on a team as well as independently
  • Sound, independent reasoning and judgment to establish work priorities, handle questions and be flexible to respond to constantly changing priorities and shifting deadlines
  • Proficient in all MS Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Education and/or experience in Marketing or Market Research preferred

Compensation:

Pay for an intern position is commensurate based on the student's academic level in school and experience.
